Pete Seeger was interviewed for the exhibit.
“I say it's like the Declaration of Independence says 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.' And I bet if old Ben Franklin had been alive today he'd say 'and the right to turn down a chemical.'"
"Whenever anybody asks me 'what's the most important thing to work on,' I say, "find out what's going on in your home community. I think you should work with your neighbors and your fellow workers... Right in your home there is something you can work on. It might be clean water, it might be clean air, it might be energy, it might be putting up a community wind mill. There's a whole batch of things that could be done in your home community."
"Cautious conservatism may save the world. Are you really sure, have you double checked? I've often quoted some Frenchman who said an expert is someone who avoids all the little mistakes on the way to the big fallacy."
